At Lemon Digital Design we will take you through every step necessary to find the perfect solution for your representation on the internet. This is taken in several clearly defined steps: 1) Consultation and domain registration: We will discuss in depth the purpose, look and feel of the web site we are creating taking into account all the major priority issues included in this decision making process. These are explained in more detail on our web design issues page. We will then consult you on where and how to host your site on the internet, offer you hosting packages with reputable hosts and complete all the registration procedures for you. 2) Pre-development: This is where we decide on style and design. We will propose design examples in the style we determined to best suit the current project. This will be accompanied by site structure and navigation proposals. You will for the first time see your design in the form of images online. 3) Web Design: Once we have decided on style and navigation we will proceed to create html versions. All of these will be displayed at a temporary internet location we will install for you. This means that at any time and anywhere you can just click on the "work in progress" links we send you to see your site in development. You will see it functional and can comment on any of the proposals and ask us to make any changes you see fit. 4) Post development: Everything is in place now. We have agreed on design. navigation and layout. You have seen the site functional online. We will now proceed to populate all pages with content. HTML, Java, DHTML, Flash and all other code will be polished and streamlined. Images will be optimised for file size. The site will be tested across browsers and operating systems. 5) Extras: The final step will be the inclusion of any extras you requested: Mail forms, interactive areas, password protected areas, movies or flash elements etc. These will be inserted in their appropriate locations to complete the product. 6) Conclusion: Once we have agreed that everything is functional and the customer is fully satisfied with the product we will make the transfer to the customers domain. We will create a package with all art files in their various editable formats as well as all source codes for the web site. This can be stored on your server, made available for download at one of our servers or made available on CD. All of the above steps will be completed in close co-operation with our clients. At all times the client will know what stage of development his project is at. At all times can the client intervene and request changes. Only upon full satisfaction with the work will the project enter the concluding phase.
